We aim to have small class sizes with good levels. All groups will see every teacher and will get at least 10 hours of classes over the weekend. On the Registration Form, you are asked to define your level, which will form part of the assessment for the classes. We will not necessarily have 5 levels, so please be honest so that we can make appropriate splits.
Beginner/Improver

You know the basic 6 beat, 8 beat, and charleston patterns. You would like to learn a few more moves and gain more confidence in your social dancing.

Intermediate
You have been dancing about a year, and know variations on all the basic moves. You are comfortable social dancing. You would like to learn even more complex moves and improve your style.

Intermediate/Advanced
As a leader, you can put in complex variations in your social dancing. As a follower you can put in some easy footwork variations. You really want to improve your style, improve your technique, and learn a flash move or two.

Advanced
You are one of the best dancers in the area and probably have been dancing for ages. You are mostly interested in the subtlties of the dance and would be happy doing a class working on basic technique.

Master Class
As it says, i.e. this is international teacher level! You have a well developed style based on years of experience. You're easily able to adapt your dancing according to the teacher. You want to understand the concepts the teachers use in their dancing and have a chance to practice them in class.
